Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly rejected a Premier League job offer following his Manchester United sacking.
The 49-year-old parted ways with the Red Devils in November following a poor start to the season. He was then approached by an unnamed top-flight side in England, according to Norwegian outlet VG.
Not only did Solskjaer turn that proposal down, but he is also said to have knocked back several clubs from across Europe who have offered him the chance to return to the dugout. However, the report claims the ex-United boss is now ready to take on his next managerial role this summer.
There are a limited number of Premier League clubs who could have contacted Solskjaer since his Old Trafford exit. Only Everton, Watford, Leeds and Burnley have parted ways with managers in recent months.
Watford look doomed for the drop while Leeds and Everton now have Jesse Marsch and Frank Lampard at their respective helms, leaving Burnley as the only remaining option.
Which club would be a good fit for Solskjaer? Let us know in the comments section.
The Clarets have caretaker manager Mike Jackson overseeing their battle to avoid relegation to the Championship and are yet to find a permanent replacement for Sean Dyche, who himself was sacked last month.
It looks as though there will be little other managerial movement in the Prem with the rest of league content with who they have in charge. So Solskjaer may have to look abroad for the next step of his career.
He has remained living in Manchester and has been seen supporting daughter Karna, who plays for United's women's team, in the stands at their games.
