Leicester City fans were happy with Brendan Rodgers switching to two strikers in the starting line-up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but questioned why Harvey Barnes was on the bench.

With nothing to play for outside of an eighth-placed finish, Rodgers has chosen to name a strong line-up and attack the west London outfit with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho from the beginning. James Maddison looks set to occupy the space behind the pair and provide them with opportunities to test Chelsea's defenders.

The Foxes have only managed to score 27 goals on the road this season and playing with two strikers could be an attempt to improve their goal tally while taking the game to the opposition, and fans reacted positively to the line-up on social media. One person tweeted: "That’s a properly strong line up," while another noted: "Have a feeling we’re getting something tonight not that it matters."

However, there were puzzled supporters who could not understand why Barnes was not deployed from the off. The 24-year-old scored twice in Leicester's 5-1 win against Watford but has found himself on the bench for at least the start of the game at Stamford Bridge.
