Everton return to Premier League action this evening when they take on Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Frank Lampard’s side were beaten by Manchester United last time out. Despite taking the lead through Alex Iwobi, goals from Antony and Cristiano Ronaldo secured Erik ten Hag’s side all three points at Goodison Park.
The Blues currently find themselves 12th in the Premier League table with 10 points from nine games. Spurs, meanwhile, sit in third, four points behind leaders Arsenal in the table. Antionio Conte’s beat Brighton last time out in the Premier League.
Everton will be without Anthony Gordon for this evening’s game due to suspension, while Mason Holgate has returned to full training following a knee injury but is not yet ready for selection. Yerry Mina will also miss this evening’s game, as will Nathan Patterson and Ben Godfrey, despite the pair doing individual rehabilitation work this week.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - who came on as a second-half substitute against Manchester United on Sunday - is set to be part of the matchday squad. Abdoulaye Doucoure is also available again.
Kicking off at 5.30pm, and live on Sky Sports, Joe Thomas and Chris Beesley will both be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to provide live updates on the action, as well as bringing you team news, analysis and reaction.

Key Events
Blues on the front foot
James Tarkowski heads over from an Everton corner. Decent pressure.
Contest starting to even out
Everton at least enjoying a bit of sustained possession here and for all Tottenham's territorial advantage so far, Pickford hasn't been tested while the visitors have had the most clear-cut opportunity to score.
Everton give Spurs a warning
That was a magnificent charge into the box by Demarai Gray, who should have done better with his effort on goal.
For all Spurs' early pressure it should be the Blues who are one up.
Great chance for Everton!
BIG opportunity for Everton as Gray collects a ball over the top and is through on goal before smashing well over. Biggest chance of the game that.
Kane goes close
Ben Davies finds Kane on the edge of the box and the England striker looks to curl one in but Tarkowski gets a deflection that loops the ball over.
Positive from Onana
Amadou Onana has just had the first opportunity to stretch those long legs of his with a marauding run up the field. He got into the Spurs area before being ushered out of play by Romero.
Blues respond
Everton have just succeeded in moving the game 10/15 yards further forward though in the past few minutes and Cristian Romero fouls Gray. Coady and Pickford protesting the lack of a booking there and I feel they may have a point.
