Stan Collymore has said he would love to see Richarlison at Aston Villa as the Brazilian striker struggles to make his mark at Tottenham.
Spurs paid Everton £60million for the 25-year-old last summer but he has so far failed to emerge from Harry Kane’s shadow and is still looking for his first Premier League goal for the club. Richarlison has netted in just one game under Antonio Conte, hitting a brace in a Champions League win over Marseille. In fact he scored more goals, three, during an impressive showing for his country at the World Cup in Qatar.
While it is perhaps too early to suggest Spurs would be willing to cash in on Richarlison, pressure is on both club and player for the sizeable price tag to be justified. Collymore says he would be an ideal signing for his former club.

“We’d have him at Villa,” the former Liverpool and Nottingham Forest striker told talkSPORT this afternoon (Friday). “Ollie Watkins is in a fine run of form at the moment but we’d take Richarlison off your hands all day long.
“I think Richarlison is thinking, when he comes in, he’s got to really perform. I do wonder if he really feels loved by Spurs at the moment. It’s not just about players training, scoring goals, it’s about making them feel that they are the top man. I wonder if he feels that.
“I just wonder if Spurs are flexible enough to look at other options that include Harry Kane, but have other people in and around him. Kane and Son have been a staple of that Spurs team for a decade.”
