The BC Lions got their 2022 campaign off to a positive start, reeling off three straight wins.
The Lions opened their season decimating the Edmonton Elks, 59-15. They went on to crush the Toronto Argonauts 44-3 in week 3. Only the Ottawa Redbacks gave the Lions a run for their money in BC’s 34-31 win.
Quarterback Nathan Rourke went 23-of-32 passing for 359 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Rourke also put up 87 yards on five carries and a rushing touchdown.

Blue Bombers (4-0-0)
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are undefeated through four weeks of the CFL season with a perfect 4-0-0 mark.
They opened their campaign with back-to-back wins over Ottawa, 19-17 in week 1 and then 18-12 in week 2. They next took care of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a 26-12 win.
Most recently, they edged the Argonauts 23-22 in week 4. Quarterback Zach Collaros went 25 of 31 for 215 yards passing, one touchdown, and an interception. Brady Oliviera rushed for 28 yards on seven carries.

It’s not often that a two-time defending Grey Cup champion goes into a game as the underdog, but that is the case here as Winnipeg is a 2.5-point underdog.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are tipped as the nominal +120 road underdogs while the point spread is set to 2.5 points. The total for the game is projected to 50½ points with both the OVER and UNDER juiced to -110.
The Blue Bombers have not been quite as dominant as in years past. Winnipeg is 2-2-0 ATS through four games.

Since markets went to press, the CFL lines and odds have moved against BC. The Lions opened as high as -4 favorites at home. But with game time fast approaching, the line has dropped to -2.5 as betting on Winnipeg intensifies
For those getting their last-minute bets, the Lions at -2.5 seem like the value play here as they look to continue their dominant form. A win over the defending Grey Cup champions would cement the Lions as legitimate contenders this season.
