Ajax continues their mid-season friendly with another warm-up game against FC Volendam. The game will be played at the De Toekomst Sports complex in Duivendrecht.
Ajax has some of their key players representing their respective countries at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. But despite the absence of some of their key players, the Dutch giants have been involved in a series of friendlies, most recently against Blackburn Rovers.
Head coach Alfred Schreuder will hope to maintain their position on the log amid PSV Eindhoven’s position at the top of the table. Ajax are three points adrift of the leaders and will take on NEC on January 8 when the season resumes.
