Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller assured that Al Ahly is ready to win Al Hilal’s clash expressing his happiness with the huge number of fans attendance.
Al Ahly will host Al Hilal of Sudan in today’s anticipated match at Cairo International Stadium in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
“Al Ahly prepared well for Al Hilal match as we know the importance of this match, and we know exactly what is required from us as a team,” Koller said in the pre-match press conference.
“We must win with a single goal or by a difference of two goals, and we will fight to the last minute to achieve victory.
“The huge number of fans in attendance will be a positive support for the players to achieve their goal and secure the qualifying spot.”
Al Ahly has been allowed up to 50,000 of their fans will attend the game against Al-Hilal at the Cairo International Stadium.
“It’s my first game to appear with such a huge number of Al Ahly fans as football is played for them, and I am confident with their support for the team,” he added.
The Red Devils are now third in the group, three points behind second-placed Al-Hilal, and will need to win 1-0 or by a two-goal margin in order to join Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals.
