Every July 4, since 1776, the United States celebrates the anniversary of its independence, signed in that year by seven men known as the founding fathers. Prior to this, all states hold a fireworks show and activities during the day. Florida has one of the most outstanding events, and below I share with you the most complete information to enjoy this date.

It is necessary to mention that this day is a national holiday, so many stores and institutional premises will be closed for 24 hours.

What time does it start and where to see fireworks in Florida?

  • Miami Beach: Fire on the Fourth festival will be on July 4th from Altos Del Mar Park (76th Street and Collins Avenue). Beachfront drone parade and fireworks from 9 pm.
  • Miami: through Bayfront Park, which will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. and ends with a colorful firework show.
  • Hialeah: An event from Milander Park, from 4 to 11 pm. With live music, food festival and “the fireworks and laser show from Florida”, according to their website.
  • Coral Gables: the Biltmore Hotel offers a fireworks show from 9 pm.
  • Lauderdale by the Sea: from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. there will be a 4th of July Parade and Family Fun Day. The party will end with a fireworks display.
  • Miramar: The regional park, located at 16801 Miramar Parkway, will be the gathering point. The gates will close at 8:30 p.m., just as the fireworks show begins.
  • Pompano Beach: The fireworks and light show will be at 9 p.m. on July 4 at Fisher Family Pier.
  • Sunrise: the concerts and fireworks will be held from the Amerant Bank Arena, between 6 and 10 p.m.
  • Boca Raton: the fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. at Countess of Hoernle Park.
