It's the proverbial 'six-pointer' down on the south coast as Bournemouth battle West Ham.

The Cherries have slipped into the relegation zone after a wretched run with Eddie Howe's men struggling without a win in seven Premier League games.

West Ham had a good win against Arsenal, followed by a draw with Chelsea and a win over Stoke earlier this month.

But they lost 3-2 at home to Newcastle before Christmas and are now hovering above the drop zone in 17th place.

A six-goal thriller at the Vitality Stadium sees Bournemouth and West Ham settle for a share of the spoils in a memorable Boxing Day encounter. Bournemouth appeared headed for three points despite conceding first, until a pair of Asmir Begovic errors gifted Marko Arnautovic a brace as the Hammers stormed back to take a 3-2 lead, before a controversial Callum Wilson equaliser ensures a share of the spoils on the south coast.

FULL-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 3-3 WEST HAM.

What exactly the referee was discussing with his assistant is still unknown. The original decision to disallow it was because of the final touch, albeit an incredibly slight touch, from Wilson who was either offside or made contact with his arm. But after the discussion it has been given and it's Wilson, not Ake, who is credited with the goal, so what could have changed? Obviously they still think he got a touch on it.

Ake is credited with the assist.

INCREDIBLY, BOURNEMOUTH ARE LEVEL! Ake meets a cross and heads across goal, and his effort goes all the way through into the far corner! The goal is immediately called back as Wilson was deemed to have got a touch to turn it in at the far post from an offside position, but after consulting with his assistant, the goal is given!

There will be six minutes added on at the end of this match.

WEST HAVE HAVE TURNED IT AROUND AT THE DEATH! Unbelievable! They looked headed for a sure defeat less than 10 minutes ago, but are surely on course for three points now! Chicharito meets a cross in from the left and Begovic makes the initial save, but spills the rebound straight to Arnautovic who simply couldn't miss.

These sides have never played out to a draw in four Premier League clashes, but that's the direction we're headed now following Begovic's incredibly costly error. The rain seems to get worse by the minute, which doesn't favour attacking play, but could it result in another defensive error?

Ogbonna becomes the seventh player booked in this match, the fourth for West Ham.

Marc Pugh replaces Fraser for Bournemouth.

STAT: Before today, Marko Arnautovic had scored three goals in his last four Premier League appearances for West Ham United, the same tally that he’d netted in his previous 26 games in the competition.

WEST HAM GIFTED AN EQUALISER IN SHOCKING FASHION! It's a horrible moment for Begovic! Plenty of time and space for Begovic to pass the ball out from the back, but these wet conditions get the better of him as he slips and falls, allowing Arnautovic to walk in and roll the equaliser into the empty net!

Ake drags down Lanzini from behind to halt a break, and that will see him into the book - the sixth player to see yellow in this match, three for each side.

Declan Rice is on as West Ham use their third and final change, with Zabaleta giving way.

Cook is back up and ready to play on here by the looks of things. At the risk of speculating, surely he can't be at 100 per cent here, so perhaps West Ham would be wise to start sending crosses in for Carroll with Cook hindered a bit.

Steve Cook and James Collins clash heads and the Bournemouth centre-half has come out worse for wear here. He's down and clearly shaken up as the training staff comes out to take a look. He might be forced off here.

STAT: Bournemouth are without a victory in seven successive Premier League matches (W0 D3 L4) – their worst run in the Premier League is eight games in a row without a win (occurred three times previously).

Cook goes into the book for a foul on Chicharito, but the resulting free-kick is sent into the waiting arms of Begovic.

West Ham are slowly starting to increase their time in possession and build their confidence. Chicharito is working hard to get himself involved, dropping a bit deeper to get in possession, but the field conditions are far from ideal as the rain continues to pour down.

TERRIFIC STOP! That's kept the game alive for the Hammers! Ibe gets on the end of some enticing interplay and lashes an effort at goal, but Adrian does so well to get a leg out to divert it away from goal!

SIDE NETTING! Two attacking changes for the Hammers but it's Bournemouth who are threatening again, Ake coming close to his second in five minutes as he rises high to meet a corner but heads into the side netting!

Bournemouth go to the bench for the first time here as they call upon Benik Afobe to replace King.

Bournemouth back on the front foot and looking for more as West Ham are in danger of falling out of this match. They need to make a change here to try and tilt the match back in their favour, or at least to help try and build a bit of momentum.

Javier Hernandez enters the fray, replacing Ayew.

West Ham really going for it here as they make a pair of attacking changes here. The first sees Andy Carroll replace Obiang.
