The Sacramento Kings are hoping to close out this 2017-18 regular season on a strong note by having their younger players get more playing time to develop. Unfortunately, they can’t do that if guys Keep getting injured. Rookie De’Aaron Fox is having a great first season with Sacramento, but he’s also missed a handful of games due to injury.
On Wednesday night against the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, De’Aaron Fox once again had to leave the game, this time due to lower back stiffness, per Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee. He left early in the first quarter and was almost immediately ruled out by the Kings training staff.
De'Aaron Fox (lower back stiffness) will not return tonight.

Fox finished with just two points and one assist one 1-of-3 shooting from the field in five minutes of action. While the Kings aren’t fighting for anything other than player development and ping pong balls, the Pelicans, on the other hard, are fighting to remain among the top of the Western Conference despite the absence of star DeMarcus Cousins.
