ESPN welcomed mentalist Oz Pearlman on set for Monday’s Tournament Challenge Marathon, and he left Mike Greenberg, Jalen Rose and Michelle Beadle at a loss for words.
As part of this mind-reading exercise, Pearlman had Rose write down the score to any game on a piece of paper. At the same time, he had Greenberg remove his earpiece, close his eyes and cover his ears. Pearlman then told Greenberg to say the winner and score that Rose had written down without looking. It was Seton Hall, 80-73.
When Greenberg correctly guessed Seton Hall, 80-73, nobody on set could believe it.
Of course, this was on TV, and skeptics were certain that it was scripted because nothing is real. Rose and Greenberg both assured that it really happened.
You be the judge.
