The Jets thought they had dodged a bullet when Mekhi Becton went down clutching his surgically repaired right knee early in Monday’s training camp practice. But a source confirmed to NJ Advanced Media that Becton’s injury is more concerning than initially thought and that he suffered a new injury to the knee.
NFL Network first reported that Becton had suffered a new, more concerning injury.
