Is Blackpool v Swansea City on TV?

No, the fixture will not be shown live on television. Fans in international areas can watch the action live on SwansTV.

What is the latest team news?

Jordan Gabriel and James Husband both returned from injury for Blackpool in their Carabao Cup loss to Barrow and could be in contention to make the squad this weekend. Striker Gary Madine will be assessed after being withdrawn due to injury early on in his side's defeat at Stoke City last weekend, but Jake Beesley is set to miss out.

As for Swansea, Ben Cabango and Joe Allen are both available after featuring at Oxford United in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Russell Martin will once again be without Liam Walsh who is sidelined with a ruptured Achilles.

What have the managers said?

Michael Appleton: “We will lick our wounds, it won’t affect the players too much," he said after his side's loss to Barrow. "They know from a performance point of view there wasn’t an awful lot wrong.

“But I think when you progress in the cups it can happen two ways, can’t it? You can either create a bit of momentum with your league form or it can become an issue and a problem.

“I would have preferred to go through because I’ve got a decent record in cup competitions, so I wanted to do it again. But it hasn’t happened. “Who knows? It might actually work in our favour.”

Russell Martin: "Winning the first game will relax everyone. Looking at a couple of clubs where there's expectancy, they haven’t got off with a win yet," said the Swansea boss.

"We’re not the only ones, we’re two games in. After 10 to 15 games when it starts to take shape, if we were sitting in that position we’d be a little bit concerned. We have a lot of people travelling, 1,400 or so, our support is incredible, it’s up to us to try and make their weekend a really good one."

Who is the referee?

Andy Woolmer will take charge of proceedings in Lancashire.

The Northamptonshire official will be assisted by Andrew Dallison and Mark Stevens. Andy Haines is the fourth official.
