Winslow Township senior wide receiver Ejani Shakir sprinted towards the right sideline, dropped to his knees and hauled in a pass while sliding out of bounds on Friday night in a prime-time matchup against No. 7 Delsea.
When he came to a stop, he was about a foot away from Penn State coach James Franklin, who wore a wry smile while taking in the game on the sideline. Earlier in the game, Shakir soared high in the air to haul in a fourth-and-goal pass for a 5-yard touchdown right in front of his future college coach.
