Desmond Howard raised some eyebrows with his College Football Playoff picks before the season, and now those projections have crashed and burned as Week 2 wraps up.
The ESPN “College GameDay” analyst picked Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Michigan and Baylor to make the Playoff, with the Aggies and Wolverines in the national title game.
After the Texas A&M Aggies fell to Appalachian State, not to mention Pitt struggling with Tennessee, Howard’s picks had an especially tough week.
