Facundo Campazzo cleared to play for Dallas Mavericks after weeklong visa renewal process

Reserve point guard Facundo Campazzo will be available to play Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, coach Jason Kidd said, marking the first time he’ll be in uniform since signing with the Mavericks on Oct. 18.

The 31-year-old Argentinian, who played the last two seasons for the Denver Nuggets, had to complete his work visa renewal before participating in games as an end-of-the-bench ball-handling option.

“He’s cleared to play,” Kidd said Monday after the team’s practice. “Hopefully we get him in tomorrow.”

Frank Ntilikina (right ankle effusion) and Davis Bertans (right knee effusion) will miss their third straight game Tuesday.
