Alabama and LSU were tied 21-21 at halftime on Saturday night, leaving everyone impressed, including Tigers coach Brian Kelly.
Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels of LSU and Jalen Milroe of Alabama accounted for all six touchdowns in the first half, four of them rushing. Kelly told CBS sideline reporter Jenny Dell — and viewers — to expect more of the same in the second half.
“Both quarterbacks are elusive, both teams can make plays,” Kelly said. “It’s about getting stops really. We let the back out twice (on wheel routes), where they made big plays on our defense. But we came back offensively and made a great individual play down at the end.
“This is the way it’s gonna be for four quarters. So buckle up, we got more work to do.”
LSU was set to receive the opening kickoff of the second half.
