“Crosby sucks.”
We’ve heard it a million times by now every time that the Penguins take the ice and play their cross-state rival Flyers in Philadelphia and the fans see Sidney Crosby’s #87 jersey.
But this Sunday morning, we saw a different star player wearing Crosby’s uniform....and this time, it was an entirely different sport.
When Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray showed up to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia ahead of Sunday’s game against the Eagles, he was sporting a vintage Crosby jersey that the Penguins superstar wore when he broke into the league.
The reactions to Murray wearing the jersey were classic and the team even chimed in!
One sure-fire way to instill fear in the city of Philadelphia https://t.co/qPHMDUhpjD

Whether or not Murray will harness Crosby’s power and have a star performance in the City of Brotherly love is yet to be seen.
For Murray’s sake, he can hope to channel some of that Crosby road magic.
According to StatMuse, Crosby has 26 goals and 33 assists in 41 games against the Flyers on the road in his career.
