The New Orleans Pelicans will be short-handed as they try to stop a three-game losing streak Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.
Zion Williamson (left foot contusion) and Herb Jones (right adductor soreness) are unavailable to play, Pelicans coach Willie Green said.
Williamson was a surprise addition to the team's injury report Wednesday afternoon. He missed one game last week with the same left foot injury he's dealing with now.
Green on Wednesday reiterated that Williamson's injury is a minor one and that he is not dealing with structural damage.
Jones, who was listed as questionable on Tuesday night, got downgraded to out.
Jones has started 44 games this season. This marks the fourth game he has missed in 2023-24.
