St Patrick’s Day on March 17 is fast approaching and Northern Irish watchmaker, Nomadic, is marking it with a limited edition of its Marai 401 divers’ watch that’s tailormade for the occasion.
A dark green bezel is the first sign that this is something special for the Irish, but the underside of the watch has the biggest surprise: a customised oscillating weight in the shape of a shamrock clover leaf.
Only 33 are being made. They go on sale at the Nomadic website on March 1 for £1,150 / $1,350 and only one will be available to buy on each day with a fresh drop at 7pm GMT.
Nomadic will also be attending the British Watchmakers’ Day on March 9 at Lindley Hall in London, where a further two Black Shamrock watches will be available for purchase.
Marai 401 dive watches are water resistant to 200 metres and come in a 40mm x 11.5mm steel case housing a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 41 hour power reserve.
The watches have high end features including a ceramic insert in its unidirectional bezel, domed sapphire glass and high grade SuperLumiNova.
