Konyaspor lost 1-0 to Sivasspor at the Yeni 4 Eylul Stadyumu last Saturday, making it two defeats in a row for the Anatolian Eagles and leaving their top-flight status in jeopardy.
Fahrudin Omerovic's men saw their resistance broken in the 86th minute when Rey Manaj found the net for Sivas and they could not find a way back into the game.
With 36 points amassed from their 34 league outings this term, Konyaspor sit 16th in the standings, just one point clear of the relegation zone after the weekend's results.
Having picked up 19 points from 16 home matches, the third-lowest number of points on home soil by a side in this campaign, Monday's hosts will be hoping to find a way to stop an opposition that has dominated them.
In 24 meetings between both sides at Torku Arena, Konyaspor have lost 15 times, winning seven and drawing twice.
Fenerbahce returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over 10-man Besiktas, courtesy of goals from Michy Batshuayi and Irfan Kahveci.
Ismail Kartal's men saw city rivals Galatasaray maintain their relentless form at the summit of the Turkish Super Lig table earlier in the weekend, a result which leaves Fener now seven points adrift with four matches of their season left to play.
Fenerbahce have only dropped 13 points throughout the entire campaign, but have still found themselves second-best to a Galatasaray side that has already amassed the highest points tally in Super Lig history with three games still to play.
It therefore looks likely that Fener's longest title drought of the Super Lig era is set to extend into an 11th year, despite them looking set to surpass their own record points haul in a single campaign.
The Yellow Canaries are the best side on the road this season and remain the only team without an away defeat so far. They are unbeaten in 17 away matches in this campaign, with 15 wins and two draws.
Having dominated the last two meetings between both sides, scoring 11 goals and conceding just one, they will be hoping to record a similar result while keeping tabs on Gala for the chance to close the gap if there is a slip-up.
