United States captain Keegan Bradley has made a second addition to his leadership room for the 2025 Ryder Cup. Bradley announced Monday that Brandt Snedeker will serve as a vice captain for the U.S. team during the event scheduled for Sept. 26-28, 2025, at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York.

Snedeker joins Webb Simpson, who was appointed vice captain in late July.

"I am so grateful to Keegan and the PGA of America for giving me the opportunity to represent my country in the role of vice captain," Snedeker said. "The Ryder Cup is unlike anything in our sport and I hope to bring the passion and pride to help Keegan deliver his vision of what a Ryder Cup in New York should look like. I am so excited to serve alongside my good friend Webb and know we will do everything in our power to help Keegan and the players be ready for a great competition next September at Bethpage Black."

Snedeker's inclusion continues the trend of new blood taking leadership positions for the U.S. side. Like Bradley and Simpson, Snedeker's role as vice captain marks his first of a leadership variety in the Ryder Cup. As a player, he compiled a 4-2-0 record across two Ryder Cups, both of which took place on American soil in 2012 and 2016.

The 43-year-old remains busy on a week-to-week basis as an active playing member of the PGA Tour, which is in line with Bradley's initial comments regarding vice captains. The headman stated at his introductory press conference that he wanted to take a "fresh look" at the leadership structure and empower those who are out on the road with potential team members during the season. Snedeker played in 22 events in 2024, making just five cuts.

"As I've started preparing for the 2025 Ryder Cup, I quickly realized that Brandt was someone I wanted by my side," Bradley said. "Having competed in two Ryder Cups, including a stellar individual performance in 2016, Brandt's experience and insight will surely be beneficial to our team in the months ahead."
