The Southwestern Warriors have been through a rough 2024 season so far, managing a total of 11 goals through 11 games and sporting no wins heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. However, in what may be a good sign heading into the postseason, the Warriors scored their highest amount of goals in a game so far this season in a 5-0 rout at Casey County on Monday, securing their first win of their campaign and giving interim head coach Matt Cook his first win as well. Logan Presgraves had a hat trick in the contest, with Fernando Morales recording a shutout in goal.

Riding high off that first win, the Warriors, now 1-11, will next make the short trip across town to take on the Somerset Briar Jumpers in a crosstown showdown on Thursday evening.

Maroons fall to Madison Southern

Pulaski made the trip to Madison Southern to take on a strong Eagles team on Saturday, hoping to extend a two-game winning streak. Unfortunately, the defense of Madison Southern was too strong, with freshman goalkeeper Caden Coyle providing a shutout and junior Hayden Shepard scoring both goals in a 2-0 loss for the Maroons.

Pulaski falls to 7-4-1 on the season and will next welcome in South Laurel for their regular season home finale on Thursday.
