This is the worst era in Chicago Bears history

Groundhog day.

Hamster wheel.

Insanity.

Call it whatever you want.

The Chicago Bears are a cursed franchise, but there’s no billy goat for our fans to blame the team’s ineptitude on. This franchise has been cursed with incompetence for decades. Time and time again, they make the wrong decision, they never learn from their mistakes, and they refuse to move on when it’s obvious to the football world it’s time.

So it should come as no surprise that this franchise that tried to sell us on drafting a quarterback for an incumbent head coach instead of drafting one for a fresh regime is about to clean house. Whether that comes in season, which would be historic, or after week 18, there’s no way Matt Eberflus can survive for the 2025 season.

And speaking of historic...

In the 14 seasons between George Halas retiring & hiring Mike Ditka (1968-1981), #DaBears had a winning percentage of .399

In the 12 seasons since the Bears fired Lovie Smith, the Bears have a winning percentage of .399

Worst. Bears. Era. Ever.

JB followed up that Tweet with even more data that this is the worst era in Bears' history.

Trestman-Fox-Nagy-Flus Bears will post a worse winning percentage unless they can pull off 4 more wins down the stretch.

The NFL is a coaches & QBs league. It is not an understatement to say removing Flus & getting the right guy is the only thing that matters right now.
