The Washington Commanders announced a pair of roster moves before their gone game against the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow. DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste was activated from injured reserve and he will make his return after missing the last four games with an ankle injury. His 21-day practice window was opened on Wednesday, and JJB was a full participant all week. He is still listed as questionable, but he's expected to play vs the Cowboys.
The Commanders needed to make a roster move to open up a spot for Jean-Baptiste, and that means RB Chris Rodriguez Jr got released. He was on the practice squad to start the year, but was signed to the 52-man roster when starter Brian Robinson Jr was dealing with a hamstring injury. Rodriguez Jr will likely be signed to the practice squad again if he clears waivers.
Washington also announced that kicker Austin Seibert has been removed from the injury report. He missed the last two games with a right hip injury, but told reporters on Thursday that he planned on kicking vs the Cowboys. Zane Gonzalez was signed to the practice squad two weeks ago, and was perfect for Washington the last two games.
The Washington Commanders didn't elevate any players from the practice squad for the Cowboys game. The only player ruled out is CB Marshon Lattimore who is still dealing with a hamstring injury he had before getting traded by the New Orleans Saints.
