With just around a week to go until the PyeongChang Winter Games, it’s time to introduce the most incredible female athletes taking part in the games.

Years of training and endless hours in the gym mean these women have hit peak human fitness, which pays dividends for them as athletes, and us, the spectators.

While Winter Olympians wrap-up in competition, these athletes appear more than happy to flaunt their sizzling figures off the slopes.

American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn has added a spot on FHM’s Sexiest Women of 2017 to her list of achievements, while Olympic silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis parades her bikini beach-bod in numerous Instagram posts.

Other Olympian set for the PyeongChang podium are high-flying US ski jumper Sarah Hendrickson and cross-country skier blonde bombshell Jessie Diggins.

North Korea will send a total of 22 athletes to the Games, who will compete under a unified Korea flag. This offers respite from rising tensions over Pyongyang’s nuclear ambitions, which it is pursuing in defiance of United Nations sanctions.

Kim Jong-un has promised a flat and posh car to any North Korean who bags Olympic gold, and will give plum jobs to any other medallists at the event -but the brutal state’s athletes could face fury if they flop. Former stars have been tortured after failing to perform on the global stage.

And after the Russian doping scandal rocked the 2014 Sochi Games, Team GB is hoping to be more in contention for medals this year.

The 2018 Winter Olympics are starting Friday, Feb. 9, in PyeongChang, South Korea
