... moreCLEVELAND — Astros manager A.J. Hinch was ejected by home plate umpire Tony Randazzo in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Indians.
With the count at 3-0 to Jose Altuve, Hinch began yelling at Randazzo — whose tight strike zone irked members of both teams all afternoon — from the dugout. Preceding Altuve's at-bat, Alex Bregman struck out looking on an outside fastball and exchanged words with Randazzo.
It was Hinch's first ejection of the season.
Altuve lined the next pitch he saw into right center field for an RBI double, scoring George Springer from first base to cut the Indians lead to one.
