The Dallas Cowboys are getting set to take on the Detroit Lions, a game at AT&T Stadium in which the home team are massive underdogs.
Much of that has to do with the fact that Detroit fields one of the best rosters in the NFL. While the status of Dallas’ roster can be debated, whatever you think of it has certainly been impacted by all of the injuries that the team has been dealing with lately.
Among the litany of issues for the Cowboys on the injury front is that rookie, first-round pick Tyler Guyton left last week’s win in Pittsburgh early with an injury. Guyton is active for the game against the Lions, but according to Dallas Cowboys Radio’s Kristi Scales he will not start.

Tyler Smith will start at LT w/ TJ Bass at LG. Rookie Tyler Guyton is active but won’t start.
Rookie Marist Liafau will wear the green dot & call defense w/ veteran Eric Kendricks out.
It is unknown whether or not the Guyton decision is one that was impacted at all by injury. When he exited against the Steelers the Cowboys kicked Tyler Smith out to left tackle, Tyler will play the position against the Lions, and had T.J. Bass fill in at left guard. Some felt that this overall group was the better one for the time being. Perhaps that is a factor.
Whatever the case here is how the Cowboys will trot out against the Lions.
