Before Thorkildsen, the legendary Jan Zelezny of the Czech Republic was the owner of the two prestigious gold medals simultaneously.

Neeraj Chopra's biggest strength has been his consistently in technique, his coach Dr Klaus Bartonietz had said before the worlds. He delivers with 88.39 metres in qualifying.

Chopra has 3rd best throw in the world this year and has broken the natl record twice. His personal best of 89.94m puts him in the 90m range. He may not go all out in qualification though.
