Prior to the 2023 WNBA Playoffs tipping off today, the league announced the recipients of the Player of the Week awards for the final week of the WNBA regular season.

The Eastern Conference Player of the Week is Courtney Williams of the Chicago Sky, who averaged 17.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists while leading the Sky to a 3-0 record during the week. This is Williams' second time winning the WNBA's Player of the Week award this year.

Through 40 games this season, Williams has averaged 10.4 points, 6.3 assists, 6.0 rebounds, 1.2 threes and 1.0 steal, while shooting 43.7% from the field and 44.3% from three-point range. 

The Western Conference Player of the Week is A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, who averaged 33.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals while leading the Aces to a 2-0 record during the week. This is Wilson's fifth time winning the WNBA's Player of the Week award this year.

Through 40 games this season, Wilson has averaged 22.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.4 steals, while shooting 55.7% from the field and 31.0% from three-point range.

Williams and Wilson will face off during the first round of the WNBA Playoffs, as the Sky and Aces are set to tip off their best-of-three series tonight at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
