The Portland Trail Blazers will be without rookie point guard Scoot Henderson Friday night when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
Henderson has been ruled out with a right ankle sprain suffered during Wednesday night’s 110-101 win at Detroit, the Blazers announced Thursday.
Henderson injured the ankle in the third quarter after getting off to a strong start to the second half with five points and four assists in six minutes.
He finished the game with 11 points and seven assists.
After the game, Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said Henderson’s ankle remained sore and he wasn’t sure how long he would be out.
“For him not to come back into the game, it says a lot,” Billups told reporters.
Guard Shaedon Sharpe is listed as probable with a sprained right thump.
Anfernee Simons (thumb ligament tear) and Ish Wainright (calf strain) remain out.
