WICHITA, KS — The Pitt State Gorillas Men’s Basketball team capped off their tough three-game road stretch with a victory over Newman. They defeated the Jets, 77-60.
Pitt State was led by freshman Jordan Frison who scored 24 points in the win.
They also got some big contributions from Marque English who scored 18 points, Jeramy Shaw who scored 16 and Max Alexander who finished with 11.
The Gorillas improve to 13-8 on the season and are now 9-6 in MIAA play.
They return home on Wednesday for a matchup with the Mules of Central Missouri with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. there in Pittsburg at John Lance Arena.
