egyptian premier League side, Zamalek were held to a 1-1 draw in a friendly encounter against the Yemen National Team.
The match was part of Zamalek's preparations for their next Egyptian premier league match in the 30th round of the tournament.
Zamalek started the match with a squad that includes: Mohamed Awad, Ahmed Mahmoud, Mostafa Al-Zanari, Mohamed Abdelghani, abdallah gomaa, Omar Gaber, Amr El-Sisi, Ahmed Belhaj, Mostafa Shoukry, Samson Akinyoola, and Mohamed Salah.
In the 17th minute of the first half, Yemen, who are ranked 157th in the FIFA rankings, took the lead through Qasim Al-Sharafi.
Zamalek kept searching for the equaliser, but Yemen managed to hold onto their lead, ending the first-half in a 1-0 lead.
At the start of the second half, Zamalek boss Juan Carlos Osorio pushed in mahmoud shabana for Al-Zanari, Saif Gaafar for Samson Akinola, and Abdallah Mohamed for Ahmed Mahmoud.
Struggling to get the equaliser, Osorio put in Mohie Gomaa, Mohamed Hossam Besso, and mohamed tarek for Mohamed Abdelghani, Amr El-Sisi, and Abdallah Gomaa.
The changes paid off quickly as Mostafa Shokry managed to grab the equaliser for Zamalek in the 62nd minute, but Zamalek couldn't get a second goal as the game finished in a 1-1 draw.
The Whites' upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash will be against Ittihad of Alexandria and it is set to take place next Monday.
