PSV announced that John de Jong, the club's former director, have reached an agreement to terminate the contract immediately. Marcel Brands explained the situation:   “After a hectic week of summer transfer, I had a review with the Board of Directors,” says Brands . “It turned out that there was a unanimous breach of confidence in the Council in relation to the functioning of John de Jong.”
