BOOM! Texas A&M and head coach Jimbo Fisher have secured their second signal caller in the 2024 recruiting class, as three-star quarterback Miles O’Neill, who has been a favorite to land with the program according to recent predictions, has committed to Texas A&M!
O’Neill, who is entering his senior season at Hun High School in Princeton, New Jersey, is currently positioned as the 41st-ranked QB in the class, and the 14th-ranked prospect in New Jersey. A noted stat sheet stuffer, his 2022 junior campaign was one to remember, throwing for over 2,500 yards and 28 total touchdowns, while completing close to 73% of his passes.
Standing at 6-5 and 220 pounds, O’Neill displays the arm strength, accuracy and pocket presence needed to excel at the collegiate level, though his above average athleticism and lack of scramble ability in pressure situations still leaves some question marks. However, one more year of high school ball will definitely aid in adding to his skill set.
As Jimbo Fisher’s recruiting prowess throughout the east coast continues, Miles O’Neill is just another example of Texas A&M’s national influence outside of the Lone Star State. Congratulations, Miles! Gig ’em!
