Hull City are hoping for another bumper MKM Stadium crowd later this month when they host Preston North End, after slashing ticket prices for kids to just £1.

North End visit East Yorkshire on October 28 in what will be another busy three-game week when City return to action after the Championship's latest break for international action, with the visit of Southampton, a trip to Birmingham City and then the arrival of Ryan Lowe's side.

The Tigers have drawn their last four at the MKM Stadium with Bristol City, Coventry City, Leeds United and Plymouth Argyle all frustrating Liam Rosenior's men, and they'll hope for three points against one of the league's form teams in front of a sell-out attendance.

In the early weeks of the season, City have been averaging 21,264 at the MKM and had to erect the sold-out signs for the Yorkshire derby clash with Leeds United last month, something they'll hope to do again.

And in a bid to keep encouraging the next generation of supporters to come and watch Rosenior's side, the club have cut ticket prices for youngsters to just £1, while adult prices start at £15.

“We’re hugely encouraged by our home attendances so far this season," Kesler said. "To be averaging over 20,000 is testament to the loyalty and belief that the supporters have in this great club and as you show your commitment to us, we are always looking at ways to return the sentiment.

“We, of course, want to see the MKM sold out again this season, but also want to give kids an opportunity to access a game for the first time. Young supporters are the next generation of fans and our chairman’s dream has always been to see a full MKM Stadium, with everyone pulling in the same direction.

“We have over 3,000 under-16 Members and it’s brilliant to see so many young supporters enjoying our matchdays and we want to encourage this trend. We offer an amazing experience in the family stand and we’re really proud to recipients of an EFL Family Excellence Gold Award. The impact that a rocking home crowd has on Liam and his team while out on the pitch is massive and I sincerely hope that together, we continue to build momentum on the back of this offer.”
