Charles Barkley says the Philadelphia 76ers should use Joel Embiid as a "decoy" in Game 6 tonight against the Knicks.
"He just got to give me anything he can, Hugh," Barkley told Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio on the 94WIP Midday Show. "First of all, I think they should use him more as a decoy because the Knicks for some reason, they're doubling him. And if I was Joel I would just go in the post, draw the double team. That's going to get Maxey going, that's going to Kelly going, that's going to get Tobias going. If I'm able to get 20, somewhere in there, some rebounds. That's great, because that's gravy. I don't expect him to go out there and go 50 on one leg."
Joel Embiid is battling through a bad left knee and Bell's Palsy. Embiid has shot poorly and had nine turnovers in Game 5, but is still averaging 31.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.6 blocks in 41.6 minutes per game this series.
The Sixers are three-point favorites in tonight's Game 6 at 9pm at the Wells Fargo Center.
