Pontiac’s Elena Krause has quickly become one of the top pitchers in the state of Illinois, much like her older sister Regan Krause was when she played at Pontiac. Regan is now a senior at Stanford, and is one of their star pitchers in their run to the Women’s College World Series. Elena has led Pontiac to the 3A State Semifinals, where they’ll face Fenwick on Friday morning.
Elena has already committed to Stanford as only a junior, but for now she looks to lead Pontiac to the State Championship, continuing to blaze her own path much like her sister did just a couple of years ago.
