ROBBINSVILLE — Gavin Yablonowitz through a nine-yard touchdown pass to William Raftery in overtime and Robbinsville High football team defeated Ewing, 34-33, in a thriller on Friday night at the Steven J. Mayer Athletic Complex.
Yablonowitz completed 18-of-28 passes for 250 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions as the Ravens (2-2) won their second straight game.
Noah Schwartz caught two of the touchdown passes from Yablonowitz, but it was his 65-yard scoop and score — Robbinsville’s second defensive TD after Edward Keating returned an interception 78 yards to the end zone — that tied the game at 27-all.
Ewing (0-4) scored all 27 of its regulation points in the second quarter to lead, 27-13, at halftime.
Bordentown 10, Lawrence 7
BORDENTOWN — Jose Santiago returned a kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for the decisive score as the Scotties (1-2) got their first win and handed the Cardinals (3-1) their first loss.
Keanu Lamarre gave Lawrence a 7-3 lead with a nine-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but Santiago took the ensuing kickoff to the end zone. James Lyons finished with 77 yards on 19 carries for the Cards.
Lucas Schwartz connected on a 24-yard field goal for Bordentown’s first score of the game.

LAWRENCE TWP. — Julian Matera ran for three touchdowns, passed for two others and the Irish (2-2) blanked the Rams (0-4). Matera had scoring runs of five, three and 51 yards, while he also connected with Tyler Stefanisko and Wyatt Moore on TD throws.
