Pumas UNAM will play Tigres UANL on Thursday night in the other Liga MX semifinal.

Tigres, the defending champs, got this far by eliminating Puebla at home after tying the first leg 2-2.
They will face a Pumas side that moved a step forward after routing Chivas by a 4-0 aggregation.
The Thursday match will take place in Ciudad Universitaria and the return game will be played on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time at the Volcán.

In the other semifinal, Club América beat Atlético de San Luis 5-0 on Wednesday thanks to two goals apiece by Diego Valdes Contreras and Julian Quinones. The second leg is scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
